The American magazine The New Yorker has created something special following the decision on equal rights for gay couples in the USA. Bert and Ernie of Sesamstreet are standing on the cover of July. Partly in silhouette you can see how they cuddling and watching TV, that shows the U.S. Supreme Court.
Het Amerikaanse tijdschrift The New Yorker heeft iets bijzonders bedacht, naar aanleiding van het besluit, over de gelijke rechten voor homostellen in de VS. Niemand minder dan Sesamstraatpoppen Bert en Ernie, staan begin juli 'homoseksueel' op de cover. Deels in silhouet is te zien hoe het duo knuffelt en naar een tv kijkt waarop het Amerikaanse Supreme Court te zien is.
