Hull of 110 Metre Oceanco Y714 Launched.

Yesterday saw the Dutch shipyard Oceanco launch the hull and superstructure of the 110 metre superyacht project Y714 in the Netherlands. The following video shows the launch of the immense vessel, and she is now on her way to the Oceanco shipyard in Alblasserdam for completion. 

Gisteren ging bij de Nederlandse jachtbouwer Oceanco,  een superjacht met een lengte van 110 meter te water, onder de noemer project Y714. De volgende video toont de te waterlating van de immense jacht, ze is nu op weg naar de nieuwe hal van Oceanco in Alblasserdam voor de verdere afbouw.

Oceanco Yacht Building Alblasserdam The Netherlands, has launched this week a new yacht. The 91.5 meter yacht, which currently has the working title Y709/ PA164. Her real name will we know, when she is transferred to its owner.

Jachtenbouw Oceanco aan het Zuiderstek in Alblasserdam heeft deze week een nieuw jacht naar buiten gereden. Het 91,5 meter lange jacht, dat nu nog de werknaam Y709 /PA164 heeft, wordt aan de kade verder afgebouwd. Zo wordt ondermeer de mast op het miljoenenjacht geplaatst. Als die werkzaamheden zijn afgerond, zal de jacht via een ponton verplaatst worden en in Rotterdam te water worden gelaten.
 

 

Yacht Venus

Yesterday, one year after his death, Steve Jobs' yacht was unveiled at Dutch shipyard Koninklijke De Vries (Royal de Vries) in Aalsmeer. The yacht was designed by Jobs and designer Philippe Starck and was christened 'Venus.' Jobs' widow Laurene and three of their children, Reed, Aaron and Eve, were at the ceremony. 

 In de biografie van Steve Jobs staat te lezen dat hij een uniek zelf-ontworpen jacht liet bouwen in Nederland om samen met zijn gezin de wereld over te varen. Helaas heeft hij de ingebruikneming van het schip genaamd ‘Venus’ niet meer mee mogen maken. Vandaag, meer dan een jaar na de dood van Jobs is het jacht in Aalsmeer te water gelaten bij scheepsbouwer Koninklijke De Vries.

In de Waalhaven is het kompas van het yacht Nirvana afgesteld. Ook zijn er diverse proeven gedaan om de motoren af te stellen. Oceanco Yacht Building at Alblasserdam has wheeled out the Y707 The expectation is that the yacht will be  launched in the early morning of Friday Oceanco today could not give details about the ship. However they come later in this week with a press release with more details on the yacht.

ALBLASSERDAM – Jachtenbouwer Oceanco aan het Zuiderstek in Alblasserdam heeft woensdagochtend 25 januari een miljoenenjacht naar buiten gereden. Met de jachthaven op de voorgrond ziet het kolossale bouwwerk, dat met grote kranen verder in elkaar gezet wordt, er uit als de koning van het water. De verwachting is dat het jacht in de vroege ochtend van vrijdag 27 januari te water wordt gelaten. Oceanco kon vandaag niet meer informatie over het schip geven. Wel komt er later in de week een persbericht met meer details over het jacht.

World renowned Dutch superyacht manufacturer OceAnco have just launched today their first yacht of 2012 and their latest yacht overall. She is the massive 88.50-meter superyacht built under the hull designation Y707 at OceAnco. Naval Architecture of Y707 has been shared between OceAnco themselves and Azure. The smooth and balanced exterior lines are the work of Sam Sorgiovanni. The interior is also by Sorgiovanni.

De Nederlandse superjacht bouwer Oceanco toont vandaag voor het eerst het nieuwe jacht Y707 aan het toegestroomde publiek.

Stond ik een enkele weer geleden op 'de Brug De Noord' te kijken naar het plaatsen van de opbouw op de Y706 , kwam ik op de Koopvaardijweb zie datum posts 15 en17 maart , de foto's tegen van de superstructure onderweg vanuit Polen (Aluship) naar Nederland , heb ze bewerkt met de photosticher van Fotocrib.

Als je gisteren over de brug De Noord reed of liep , kon je dit spektakel levendig aanschouwen , daar lag op de Barge1 , van de Firma Wagenborg een onderbouw van een superjacht , het werd vakkundig en behoedzaam aan wal gereden , daarna kwam de opbouw aan de beurt en met behulp van Mammoet kranen tot een eenheid gesmeden
