Plastic Whale.
Plastic Whale goes loose in 2013! It is the year that Plastic Whale starts with the construction of a boat made out of plastic from the Amsterdams Canals. The start is on Sunday 6 January. Then comes the Plastic Whale team together, to mount the plastic bottles that they have to sort out the canals. The following days Morssinkhoff Rhymoplast shall process all bottles to granulate, it will then next processed to plastic foam plates, to create a hull for the boat.
Een berg plastic uit de Amsterdamse grachten krijgt een wel heel bijzondere bestemming. Actiegroep Plastic Whale gaat er een sloep van bouwen.
Het team van Plastic Whale komt zondag bijeen om een berg plastic flesjes die uit het Amsterdamse grachtenwater zijn gevist te sorteren. De flessen worden verwerkt tot plastic korrels en uiteindelijk tot plastic schuimplaten die als romp van de boot gaan dienen.
